This sterling Piece of Maine necklace has. Beautiful piece of pottery that I found on the coast of Maine, a green piece of Maine sea glass and a freshwater coin pearl set amongst its silver waves and my signature curly cue bail.
I do not purchase sea glass from companies and I do not tumble my sea glass. That is why it is so hard to find the rare colors such as reds, oranges, and dark blues. Also that's why I don't have a lot of earrings because it is so hard to find similar shapes to match.
The fun is in the hunt for sea glass and beach stones if you ask me. I have a throwback back in my studio. I have this for when I come home from my treasure hunting. I go through my finds and if a piece is not quite tumbled enough from the ocean or the color is not to my liking, I throw it back in the ocean. Let nature take care of it and for the next lucky person to find.
The pendant itself is approximately 2 1/2 inches long by 1 1/4 inches wide. It is on a 16 inch rolo chain. Other chain lengths are available upon request. I have 16, 18 and 20 inch chains. Just send me a convo. This is a one of a kind piece.
